At the start of the year KG facilitated a partnership between Luke Bryan, Field & Stream Magazine, Outdoor Life Magazine and Polaris for the release of Bryan’s album “Talilgates and Tanlines”. They followed up that partnership with a record-breaking 26,000 people at the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Brentwood, TN. They were instrumental in negotiating an unprecedented media deal with Clear Channel Radio who, for the first time in Clear Channel history, supported the Nashville Race with all stations in their cluster. KG made great achievements by bringing Coca-Cola, Dicks Sporting Goods, 5 Hour Energy Drink and countless others on board to make the Komen Race a great success. They also leveraged relationships with Hertz, UPS, and Sharpie while also developing a promotional partnership with the Middle Tennessee Ford Dealers. To date KG Event Managment + Branding has assisted in raising nearly $4MM for the Nashville Komen Affiliate over the past 3 years.
KG Event Managment + Branding has simultaneously fulfilled another great year with the ShipRocked cruise that featured 15 bands on the boat while cruising the Caribbean such as: Buckcherry, Hinder, Filter, Candlebox, Hell Yeah and Sevendust. The cruise was a success in part because of a Monster Energy Drink partnership which brought increased revenue, crossover fans and the ability to partner with Monster sponsored bands while on other tours during the year to promote the ShipRocked cruise to their fanbase.
